The Thomas Mann archives are located in the Bodmer House. This house was built in 1664 and has been a center of literary life for the last two centuries. Here you will find Thomas Mann's last original study, a great choice of manuscripts and precious editions of his work, the first page from the "Buddenbrooks" manuscript, notes to "Death in Venice" and "Felix Krull", letters and photos of the poet as well as his Nobel Prize document.
