Fino al 2001, nella hall industriale quasi quarantenne si fabbricavano ruote dentate gigantesche. Oggi, invece, hanno luogo qui congressi, presentazioni ed eventi aziendali di note imprese, nonché concerti e parties. L’area è ubicata nel cosiddetto miglio culturale del “SoHo” di Zurigo e offre tre locali combinabili 330 m2 fino a 1450 m2, su un totale di 3000 m2, nonché un auditorio con 950 posti a sedere e palcoscenico animato.

Schauspielhaus: Schiffbau
|
|
Lo Schauspielhaus di Zurigo rappresenta il teatro di prosa più grande della Svizzera. Alla guida del regista Christoph Marthaler, riconosciuto a livello internazionale, qui si fa teatro di ottimo livello. Con l’inaugurazione dello Schiffbau nel 2002 ha avuto inizio la rivalutazione del quartiere di Zürich West, tempestato di gallerie, ristoranti e locali di tendenza. Nei padiglioni dell’ex-cantiere navale si trovano i due palcoscenici dello Schauspielhaus Zürich Schiffbauhalle e Box, così come il jazz club Moods e il ristorante LaSalle.
