Filmpodium
The Film Podium is a cultural program organized by the City of Zürich in collaboration with the Cinémathèque suisse in Lausanne. The program supplements that of the commercial cinemas and attempts to promote understanding of film as an art form. The diversity of this art form is also illustrated by current productions as well as in the history of film. The program focuses on cycles and retrospectives of selected directors, actors, countries, themes and genres.

Half Zürich congregates at the Kanzleiareal on warm summer evenings. A game of Boule on the large gravel area is just one popular pastime. The movie theater offers a good alternative program to the city's other theaters.
